Hunter King

Hunter began his accounting career at Yak Mat, one of FV’s sister portfolio companies of Jones Capital. He rose through the ranks at Jones and, in 2017, joined the team at FV as Controller. In this role, Hunter leads all accounting functions, including facilitating high-level financial reporting and analysis, providing vital information to aid in business planning, and overseeing the company’s cash management strategies.

He earned an associate’s degree in Forestry from Jones College and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.

As a critical player in the company’s business planning, Hunter is a graduate of Jones Capital’s Jones Leadership Academy, a program based on feedback and accountability that trains team members to hone leadership skills to better their company and grow personally and professionally.
