Brett Kennedy

As VP of Operations since 2018, Brett oversees the company’s operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and management of FV’s growing truck fleet and plant and warehouse facilities. Brett also facilitates the quoting and operational implementation of national account contracts.

Brett attended the University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Administration and a master’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career learning project and financial management, which provided him with a solid foundation as he moved into transportation management. He served as Operations Manager at a heavy-haul and flatbed transportation company for seven years before bringing his expertise in the industry to FV Recycling, where he has developed a logistics team that strives for best-in-class safety, service, and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, Brett spends time with his wife and two children enjoying saltwater fishing, hunting, attending sporting events, and traveling. He is also a dedicated volunteer with Venture Church and leads FV’s charitable/community relief efforts.
